In second place is model Nyle DiMarco, at No.3 is Clay Aiken, and Tyler Oakley is in fourth place with 6.05% of the vote.

The vocal sensation shared a link to the voting page with his followers on Twitter and joked: "Flattered - but I don't know if it's actually gonna get me any dates. #alwaysontour #perpetuallysingle #catchmeifucan."

Years & Years star Olly Alexander, singer Ricky Martin, Ariana Grande's brother Frankie, British singer-songwriter Sam Smith, designer Alexander Wang, and rising star Shamir also all made the final 100. Click here to vote now.

Lambert, meanwhile, recently revealed that he insured his voice for a staggering $48 million (£33 million). The National quotes him as explaining: "That’s my bread and butter man, I got to insure this. JLo insured her booty, right? Listen - this is what I’m making my money on."
