Adam Lambert adds to Brussels terror attacks condolences

Adam Lambert has sent his thoughts to Brussels after terrorist explosions in the city killed over 30 people.

The Belgium city was rocked this morning (March 22) after two bombs went off in the departures area of Zaventem airport.

Another blast then occurred at Maalbeek metro station, with at least 31 people reported dead in total and several injured.

Islamic State has since taken responsibility for the deadly attacks.

Writing on Twitter, Lambert said: "Sad to wake up to news of grotesque violence in Brussels.

"My thoughts are w the victims and families who have suffered."

5 Seconds of Summer's Michael Clifford was one of the first high-profile musicians to speak about the tragedy.

He wrote: "Watching this news going on in Brussels makes me so sad.

"Could've been anyone you love in that airport/metro. All of my love and prayers."

Miley Cyrus meanwhile said on Instagram: "My [heart] breaks for Brussels today..... My heart breaks for the world today.... When will this end, and the love begin.....

"This isn't the planet I wanna live on. NOTHING in the world matters but giving love to others! It's what we need more than anything else! MORE LOVE LESS EVIL!!!"
