Adam Lambert's The Original High Tour rocks Sweden

Adam Lambert performed his 47th night of 'The Original High Tour' at Fryshuset in Stockholm, Sweden.

He took a moment out of the show to address the crowd. He said:

"Thanks for supporting my album, The Original High, which as you know was really born here in Sweden."

The album surprisingly reached only No. 51 in the Swedish charts. Lambert continued to speak to the audience about his love for their country. He said:

"I like it here, I lived here for two months. Although the weather right now is a lot better than when I was here. This was like a year ago, and it was the dead of winter, and it was very dark here but all the beautiful swedish people that I met, you guys warmed me up! I saw someone say 'a corny motherf**ker!"

Speaking about diversity. He said:

'I know in Sweden, you guys are very progressive and that's one of the reasons I appreciate being here but in many parts of the world you have to pick a little box next to your name: What are you? You are this and this, that person's different, that person's different, have you noticed that?

'Now here in Sweden, you are pushing against that and I really appreciate that. But it doesn't matter: I'm this age, I'm this race, I'm this religion, this is my sexuality, this is my political party. Urgh!! Isn't it exhausting?

'Some of these things are things to be proud of, the things that make us special but at some point there's too many f**king boxes to check. And at that point, they just end up dividing us.

'What I love about music, and getting to do this, is that I get to see people come together because really, at the end of the day we all have hearts in our chests, right? And the hearts, they want the same thing, no matter what body they're in.

'They want love, they want joy, they want to chase that original high, whatever makes you high. Who's high right now?'

Recently Lambert spoke to a Finnish reporter from Radio NRG who asked him about his views on Finland. He answered:

'I find the people really sweet but the weather, you know ... I don't think there's enough going on there for me.

Tonight (April 24) Lambert plays Oslo. With just 9 more concerts to go, The Original High Tour ends on May 6 in Germany.

Adam Lambert will perform at G-A-Y in London on May 15. The news was announced by G-A-Y promoter, Jeremy Joseph, who is running the London Marathon today (April 24).
