Adam Lambert performs at the Point Foundation Gala 2017

Adam Lambert performed at the Point Honors Gala last night (October 7) in Los Angeles.

The Point Foundation honours individuals who have made a significant impact on improving the lives of the LGBTQ community.  It is America's largest LGBTQ scholarship fund. This year's gala was in honor of Jill Soloway, the TV and film writer, director and producer.

Dressed all in black complete with a 3/4 length striped coat, the vocal powerhouse launched into his hit song, 'Whataya Want from Me' before blowing  the roof off the Beverly Hilton Hotel with a cover of 4 Non Blondes' 'What's Up'.

Before his last song, the 35-year-old told the audience:

"I've got one more for ya! You guys might have heard that I'm a queen, and I get the distinct honor over the past five years of singing with Queen, so let's get Queenie. Wow!"

He then launched into the Queen classic, 'Somebody to Love', which showcased his stunning vocal range and won him a standing ovation.
