Adam Lambert on social media: "Remain true to yourself"

Adam Lambert took time out before he and Queen rap up their spectacular world tour, to talk about the major influence of social media.

The vocal powerhouse admitted: “It’s a tough world out there, but it’s important that you remain true to yourself, otherwise there’s no point in doing it.

"Social media can be your best and worst enemy but you just need to do what you can do. I have learned not to read the replies or the hate.

"Reality TV isn’t all bad – I came from a reality show," he told Client Magazine.

"I personally find other reality genres to be a real waste of time - glorifying mediocrity and the mundane.

"It’s really about doing what works for you and understanding who you are and what does work for you, and not getting lost in the noise!”

Their mammoth world tour ends on September 22 at Las Vegas, where they have held a mini-residency at the Park Theater. Throughout their tour, the reviews have been ecstatic.
