Adam Lambert reveals when he plans to drop new solo music

Adam Lambert has revealed that he will be dropping new music in the first half of 2019.

The man with the golden lungs was asked the On With Mario Lopez radio show if new solo music should be expected in 2019, and answered:

"Hell, yeah!!!

"I've been working on music for a while now and I've kind of took my time to make sure it felt really authentic and it was exactly want I wanted to put out. Putting the finishing touches on it now and just getting the business stuff squared away which can be tedious (laughs) but it's a business as well as art.

"I'm just getting ready, and I think 2019 will definitely be the year when you hear music from me and then I'll be out with Queen. It will be amazing!"

The Queen + Adam Lambert Rhapsody Tour begins on July 10 in Vancouver, so this means we should expect to hear his solo work to be released in the first half of 2019, hopefully in Spring.

The Grammy-nominated star's previous album, The Original High, was released in 2015.
