Adam Lambert to appear on NBC special honoring Elvis Presley

Alfred Haber handles international sales for a raft of US-produced music shows and events, including the coverage of the Grammy Awards.


Elvis Presley's 84th birthday will be celebrated with a special Elvis All-Star Tribute on NBC.

Adam Lambert will perform the classic, Blue Suede Shoes, and he will wear a pair to complete the look. The vocal powerhouse said: 

“What was I supposed to wear? Red ones? Elvis defined pop culture in the ’50s with his voice, style and swagger. He was one of the first icons I ever listened to, so to take the stage during this anniversary tribute feels like a big honor.

We're also expecting him to be all quiffed up like he was for his part of Eddie in Rocky Horror Picture Show (see below).

Lambert is no stranger to performing Presley songs and also performed Heartbreak Hotel with Queen regularly (see below). 

The programme will air on February 17 at 9-11pm (ET/PT).

The Two Fux singer has revealed that he will be dropping new music in the first half of 2019.

The man with the golden lungs was asked the On With Mario Lopez radio show if new solo music should be expected in 2019, and answered: "Hell, yeah!!!"
