Last night Adam Lambert returned to ‘American Idol’ for a stripped back performance of his new single, ‘Aftermath.’

The 2009 runner-up told host Ryan Seacrest that part of the proceeds from the song will go to The Trevor Project, an organisation that helps LGBT young people.
