Adam Lambert: "I've learnt a lot since my first album"

Adam Lambert has opened up on the journey between his debut album and his latest release, 'Trespassing'.

The vocal star released his second album 'Trespassing' earlier this year - with a UK release date of July 2 - as he built on his debut 'For Your Entertainment', which surfaced in 2009.

Speaking to CKOI 96.9 FM, Lambert said that he has "learnt a lot" since the release of his debut effort and reckons that it helped him in the build up to his sophomore album. He said:

"I feel like I've had a really good path since [American Idol]. I've learnt a lot since that first album. The first album was the first time, you know, so there was a lot of trial and error and me figuring out what worked for me and what didn't work for me, and also it was a chance for me really to get to know my fans very well. So when it came time to make the second album, I felt like I had a lot figured out."
