Adam Lambert contributes song to Bridegroom film

Adam Lambert has given a song to the soundtrack of new documentary film Bridegroom.

The singer attended the California premiere of the movie last night (October 15), with stars like Nikki Reed and Cuba Gooding Jr. also stopping by.

The flick is a "documentary that tells the emotional journey of Shane and Tom, two young men in a loving and committed relationship  - a relationship that was cut tragically short by a misstep off the side of a roof".

Speaking at the premiere, Lambert said that he wanted to contribute something to the film and realised that a song would be the perfect fit. He said:

"I became aware of this whole story online. There was a YouTube video that the gentleman who is involved with this film put up, and I met him at the GLAAD Awards in San Francisco earlier this year. We started talking backstage for a while and I said 'I wish there was some way I could be a part of it'."

The vocal powerhouse continued: "We kept talking and I actually contributed a song for the film. It's a really beautiful song that's really near to me. Hopefully it can help embody some of the emotion the story will bring up for people."
