Adam Lambert to celebrate New Year's Eve with a show in Oklahoma

'Whataya Want From Me' superstar Adam Lambert has been confirmed for a special New Year's Eve performance at a casino in America.

The hitmaker will welcome in 2014 with a special show at the WinStar World Casino and Resort in Thackerville, Oklahoma on December 31 and tickets for the event range from $65-$85 (£40-£51).

Proceedings are set to kick off at 8pm sharp and Lambert's set will take place at the Global Event Center hall, which seats 3,500 people.

Last week, Lambert told the press that next year might bring a new album although he's currently not able to give away too many details about potential new music: "In theory! We (Nile Rodgers, Avicii) did some writing, we came up with some good songs. Not necessarily so."

"Especially this year, a lot of the writing I did was to write. If it's a song I'm in love with that might work later, down the road, it might end up on the album [...] I've been talking to labels, but I'm not ready to talk about it yet."
