Adele's producer: 'Her new album will come when it's ready'

'Someone Like You' songstress Adele is taking her time on new music according to her producer, Paul Epworth.

He recently sat down for an interview with Billboard and when Adele's name was mentioned, he confessed that there are no updates about new material from her and he explained: "I've got nothing. There are no clues."

When quizzed about the possibility of a new Adele album, Epworth simply replied: "That will come when it's ready."

Songwriter Dianne Warren also told Britain's The Sun newspaper that she's unsure if the tracks she penned for Adele's next record have made the cut and she added that she also has no idea when a new album is likely to be released:

"I flew to London to work on new stuff with Adele last year. We did some great songs but I don't know if they've made the record. I don't think anybody does."

Adele's last Twitter update, meanwhile, came on December 28 and she addressed the rumours that suggest she has split from her partner Simon Konecki: "Just wanted to wish everyone happy holidays & all the best for 2015! PS Simon & I are still very much together, don't believe what you read."
