Adele's latest single 'Hello' to bulldoze its way to UK No.1 this week

Adele's comeback single 'Hello' will reach No.1 in the UK this week.

The singer unleashed the track on Friday (October 23) as the first cut from upcoming album '25'.

The Official Charts Company have confirmed in their midweek update today (October 26) that it has shifted over 165,000 combined sales and streams so far.

That figure - expected to rise further - is due to see Adele top the UK singles chart on Friday (October 30).

It is expected to comfortably beat Ellie Goulding's 'Love Me Like You Do' - which sold 173,000 combined sales and streams in its first week - to become the year's fastest selling single in the UK.

Adele will follow the single with her new album on November 20.

At No.2 on the midweek update meanwhile is Justin Bieber's new entry 'Sorry', while Sam Smith's James Bond theme 'Writing's On The Wall' is No.3.

Following at No.4 is KDA's 'Turn The Music Louder (Rumble)', with Drake's 'Hotline Bling' at No.5.

Little Mix's 'Love Me Like You' is in at No.26, while Taylor Swift’s 'Wildest Dreams' is up to No.27.
