Adele's '25' continues to reign the UK albums chart

Adele looks set to continue her domination of the UK albums chart.

The singer's third effort '25' has topped the chart since its release on November 20.

The Official Charts Company confirmed today (December 21) that it is still No.1 in their midweek update.

The record has shifted 160,000 copies this week so far.

At No.2 on the list is Elvis Presley's 'If I Can Dream', with Justin Bieber's 'Purpose' following at No.3.

Completing the top five is Coldplay's 'A Head Full of Dreams' and Jess Glynne's 'I Cry When I Laugh'.

The highest placed new entry this week is Chris Brown's 'Royalty', which is in at No.14.

John Williams' 'Star Wars’ The Force Awakens OST' debuts at No.15.

Michael Bublé's 'Christmas' is up three places to No.12, while Kylie Minogue's own 'Christmas' rises four places to No.18.
