Adele not a fan of streaming music: 'It's a bit disposable'

Adele says she prefers buying music instead of streaming it.

Platforms like Spotify have enjoyed huge popularity in recent years for opening up libraries of music for free, or a subscription fee.

However, hit singer Adele told the new issue of Time that streaming feels a "bit disposable".

She continued: "I don’t use streaming. I buy my music.

"I download it, and I buy a physical [copy] just to make up for the fact that someone else somewhere isn’t.

"I know that streaming music is the future, but it’s not the only way to consume music."

Adele added that music should be an "event".

The singer's new album '25' meanwhile has just become the top selling record in the US since 2011.

Her last effort '21' is the album that is outselling it.
