Adele enjoys tenth week at top of US albums chart with '25'

Adele's '25' has now spent a tenth non-consecutive week at the top of the US albums chart.

The singer's third record shifted another 100,000 equivalent album units to stay at No.1 on the Billboard 200.

The album, unleashed in 2015, is the fifth record released since 2000 to enjoy ten weeks at No.1.

The other four are Taylor Swift's '1989' and 'Fearless', the Frozen soundtrack and Adele's 2011 album '21'.

Sales of Adele's '25' in the US were down by 34% on its previous week.

At No.2 on the chart is Rihanna's 'Anti', while Justin Bieber's 'Purpose' drops one to No.3.

Rapper Yo Gotti is No.4 with 'The Art of the Hustle'.

Chris Stapleton stays at No.5 with 'Traveller'.
