As predicted, Grammy award-winning songstress Adele has returned to her number 1 position with '21' after a week's absence. 

Last week saw the release of the Foo Fighters' new record 'Wasting Light', and its popularity was enough to end Adele's 11 consecutive week chart reign, but today (April 20) in the midweek chart update she has regained her throne at the top spot with her sophomore effort. 

Gorillaz entered the chart this afternoon with 'The Fall' at number 4 and Jamie Woon's 'Mirrorwriting' is also a newcomer at 6.
