Adele's very own 'Hometown Glory'

Grammy award-winning superstar Adele wowed as she performed an intimate homecoming show, and also debuted a new curly hair style, in London on Thursday, April 21.

The gig was held at the O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire and in attendance were many top UK names including actor and presenter James Corden, Mark Ronson and Paloma Faith. Speaking to the Daily Star, Adele said it was an honour to play to a London crowd:

“I’m nervous, excited, everything emotional – it’s the biggest thrill of my life to come home.”

Referring to her BRITs performance of 'Someone Like You', she added:

“Everything goes over my head but when I wrote this song I thought the world had ended, so when it went to No 1 it meant so much to me.”
