Adele remains at No. 1 this afternoon, May 4, with '21' in the midweek albums chart update, but has a week of tough competition ahead of her as Fleet Foxes have shot straight in at 2 with 'Helplessness Blues'. 

The Official Chart Company explained that it will be a close call in the run up to Sunday as there's only 10% of sales separating them:

"The Foxes’ album Helplessness Blues is running close behind Adele’s 21 at the top of the Official Albums Update today, with the incumbent just about 10% of sales ahead of the new entry."

Meanwhile, Jennifer Lopez has entered the chart at 6 with 'Love?', which has already enjoyed a No. 1 single with 'On The Floor', and Beastie Boys are sat right behind at 7 with 'Hot Sauce Committee Part Two'.
