Adele is still No. 1

Although the mid-week results predicted the 'Rolling In the Deep' songstress would be dethroned, Adele has held on to the top spot of the UK album charts for yet another week with her second album ‘21’.

The star’s debut album has also held on this week at No. 3, while Kate Bush’s ‘Director’s Cut’ settled between the two at No.2, becoming this week’s highest new entry. Last week’s No. 2 , ‘House’ actor Hugh Laurie’s ‘Let Them Talk’ has slid down two spots to 4.

Other new entries include Friendly Fires with ‘Pala’ at No. 6, Danger Mouse & Daniele Luppi at 20 with ‘Rome’ and Moby’s ‘Destroyed’ at 35.

Presumably as a result of the ‘Rumours’ themed episode on ‘Glee’, Fleetwood Mac’s seminal album has re-entered the charts at No. 16.
