Adele on father: 'If I ever see him I'll spit in his face'
Vocal sensation Adele has vowed never to see her father again after he sold a story about her to a British tabloid newspaper last year.
The superstar, who dominated the 2012 GRAMMYs with an incredible 6 wins, opened up about her relationship with 48-year-old Mark Evans in a new interview with U.S. Vogue and explained that "he's f**king blown it":
"I was actually ready to start trying to have a relationship with him. He's f**king blown it. He will never hear from me again. Because there is nothing that would upset me more than my dad being bribed by the press. It's like, Just let them run it, then. Don't you give them ammunition."
She added that it makes her so frustrated to think that family members or people with significant access to her personal life would sell information on her purely to make a profit:
"It makes me angry! To come back after ten years and be like, 'Maybe her problem with men comes down to me'. It's like, f**k off! How dare you comment on my life? It makes my blood boil."
"There's consequences other than just getting a bit a f**kin' money that lasts you half a year. It blows my mind. 'I love her so much'? Really? Why are you telling me that through a newspaper? If I ever see him I will spit in his face."
