Adele made into cartoon character for new comic

'Someone Like You' songstress Adele has become the latest star of music to be immortalised in a Bluewater Comics release.

She will feature in a 32-page celebrity-themed edition, entitled 'Fame: Adele', and the narrative was written by Michael Troy. Speaking about the project, he explained: "In a day and age when you need so many gimmicks to get attention, it is so refreshing to see Adele get all the attention she deserves with her only gimmick being her powerhouse vocals. I have nothing but love for her."

Manuel Diaz is responsible for the comic's artwork (pictured below) and it was coloured by Ester Salguero. There will be two covers available. Diaz added in a statement:

"Adele is one of the best female singers on the current scene. Her voice makes me feel emotions that other singers don't. This gorgeous singer is one of my favourites and it has been a great honour for me to draw her biography."

The comic can be ordered either through iTunes or from ComicFleaMarket.com for $9.99 (limited edition cover for £6.20) or $3.99 (£2.50).
