Rihanna has been paid £30k to stay in the VIP area of a Liverpool nightspot for an hour.

The American R&B singer made a one-hour appearance at Liverpool's Bamboo club, following in the footsteps of 50 Cent, who was paid £50k last month for uttering a single word at the same venue.
