Jay-Z being sued by jet company

According to TMZ.com, hip-hop mogul Jay-Z is facing legal action from the private jet company Air Platinum Holdings, for failing to pay them $250,000.

The Miami based company has since collapsed after a series of lawsuits which left the owner $1.9m in debt, but they are accusing the rapper of owing them $137,000 and are seeking a further $100,000 from him in damages.

The bill stems from 2009 when Jay-Z allegedly flew 18 hours at a price of $4,500-an-hour, totalling $81,000.

Other outstanding costs relate to catering for four international flights at the price of $3,000 and a $24,200 luxury trip to England, with the total bill amounting to $137,485.
