Scissor Sisters credit Neil Tennant

Scissor Sisters' frontman Jake Shears has credited Pet Shop Boys singer Neil Tennant for urging the group to collaborate with Stuart Price, who ended up co-producing the band's latest LP, 'Night Work'.

"He's a love and a true genius," said Shears. "Neil Tennant urged me to call him. It seemed too obvious, then we realised it made perfect sense. One of the first things he said was, 'This is gonna be the best album you've ever made'. That enthusiasm and confidence is the most important thing he brought to the table."

"Stuart is a secret Scissor," added bandmate Ana Matronic.
