British singer Robbie Williams is set to reunite with Take That for their next album and embark on a tour in 2011.

It's the first time the band have performed together since the pair notoriously fell out when Williams left Take That in 1995 at the height of the band's fame.

The singer has teamed-up with former bandmate Gary Barlow for his new single 'Shame', which they co-wrote. The track is set to be released in October to coincide with his greatest hits package, 'In And Out Of Consciousness'.

"It's incredible to listen to the album and realise that it's already been 20 years of making music and playing gigs," he gushed. "It's not only a celebration of my past but also a bridge to the future. The fact that part of the future includes a name from my past makes it all the more poignant for me."

Williams is set to announce his comeback with a public statement.
