The brand new trailer for the 'I Am Cait' E! documentary on Caitlyn's life promises to give further glimpses into her life - including her wardrobe – and explains why she's chosen to reveal all.

Caitlyn says in the trailer: "Why did I decide to do a series? I am telling my story. People don't understand what it's like to look in the mirror and nothing seems right. Or to put on clothes you don't identify with. This is about getting to be who you really are."

Caitlyn also announces what else to expect from the show: "We're going to talk about everything. We're going to do a lot of fun things for the first time. We're going to go shopping for the first time. Maybe even some boy stuff, like ride a motorcycle - because girls do that, too!"

The trailer features shots of her looking out to the ocean in a dusty pink dress, doing her hair, with her daughter Kylie, and organising her wardrobe. 

Kris Jenner this week said to Extra about Caitlyn's Vanity Fair cover: "I think it's amazing. I think that someone following their dream is truly inspirational to a lot of people. You have to do what makes you happy." 

'I Am Cait' is an 8-part documentary on the transformation of Bruce Jenner into Caitlyn Jenner and begins August 2 at 9pm on E!
