Mika says that he reckons Lady Gaga has turned the music world topsy-turvy and triggered women in the industry to have a mass ''personality crisis''.

The singer explained that too many female singers are trying to imitate the flamboyant popstar, yet are struggling to compete with her.

"Pop music is really odd at the moment," he said. "Gaga has launched every single woman in pop music into this crazy personality crisis. I don’t think men have felt it, it’s a female thing. I’m looking forward to seeing what other records are out there."

Mika is set to perform at the Virgin Media V Festival in Britain this weekend.
