Teen hacker apologises to Bieber

A Michigan teenage hacker who got hold of Canadian rapper Justin Bieber's phone number by breaking into a friend's Twitter account, has apologised for meddling in the star's life.

Kevin Kristopik was forced to alter his phone number and close down his Twitter page after Bieber sought revenge.

The teenage pop idol got even by posting the hacker's personal number on his own page and writing, 'Everyone call me, or text'.

Kristopik was subsequently bombarded with more than 30,000 text messages from fans of the singer, who left the post on his nemesis's wall.

Speaking to US news channel MSNBC on Tuesday (August 17), Kristopik said, "Most of them texts were like, 'Oh my God, Justin, is that really you?' and others were like accusing me of hacking Justin Bieber's Twitter and posting my own number, which is ridiculous."

Asked if he had anything to say to Bieber, he contined, "I'm sorry for meddling in your life but I also think he took it a little too far by giving my number to 4.5 million people."
