Adele is back and graces the cover of British culture magazine i-D

Adele has graced the cover of British culture magazine i-D and has granted them an exclusive first play of her brand new album, '25'.

One of the most celebrated British female singers of her generation has opened up for the first time in three years to discuss the album everyone has been waiting for.

During the interview, Adele talks about becoming a mother, her fear of fame, and why she wouldn't want to follow-up '21' even if she could.

The full interview will be available here on Tuesday, October 27.

But whilst the rest of the world were rejoicing in Adele's return and her new emotive single, 'Hello', the singer was engaged in doing mutiple interviews, with one radio presenter possibly being left red-faced.

BBC 2 Breakfast Show host, Chris Evans, recently confused Adele in an awkward interview for Beyoncé when he started asking about the pop star's alter-ego, Sasha Fierce.

'Don't you have this kind of alter-ego that you pretend to become?' Evans asked.

Adele responded, clearly confused, 'No, not really, I mean I chat a lot.'

Adele seemed to quickly realise the mix up and in her usual down-to-earth manner, managed to brush it off by laughing light-heartedly about it with Evans.

Below are some of the opinions of top radio programmers in the States about 'Hello'

Kid Kelly, SiriusXM VP music programming

"'Hello' will be a No. 1 song across several formats and '25' will be a multi-dimensional No. 1 album, not only for the holidays but throughout the new year. She'll set a new benchmark for sales in the U.S. and worldwide. Sure bet, print that."

Sharon Dastur, iHeartMedia senior VP programming integration

"It's incredible. With an artist like Adele, expectations are already set so high, and she's far exceeded those expectations. She draws you in with her compelling storytelling and really has a voice like no other. I can't tell you how excited I am for this project."

Mark Medina, WHTZ New York program director

"'Hello' is a powerful song, with a very relatable story told the way only Adele can tell it. It's great to have her back on the radio. She's already iconic."

Andrew Jeffries, iHeartMedia senior VP programming Los Angeles/Seattle/San Diego

"Love it. As the years roll on, Adele gets better and better. I gave the '21' album a score of '21 out of 21.' Now, it appears I need to adjust the scale to '25 out of 25.'"

Tommy Chuck, WIHT Washington, D.C., pd

"I think it's smart of her to stick to her familiar sound [a piano ballad]. She's been away for quite a while and listeners have really been missing her. I love it, and initial fan reaction has been overwhelmingly positive."
