Former X Factor contestant Diana Vickers has revealed that she would love to duet with Cheryl Cole in the future.

The singer explained that she does not keep in touch with any of the X Factor judges but would still like to collaborate with her former mentor.

Vickers said, "I would love to duet with Cheryl Cole, it would be awesome."

She also said that she was grateful to the ITV talent show for launching her career and helping her to deal with her nerves.

"X Factor was the most nerve-racking thing I've ever done in my life but it really helped me build my confidence and bring me to where I am now," she said.

On Friday (August 20) the singer performed at T in the Park 2010 alongside a line-up of other big names, including Black Eyed Peas, Paloma Faith, Muse and Black.
