Example on rejecting The Saturdays

Example has admitted to BBC Newsbeat that he turned down the opportunity to feature on a track by The Saturdays.

The rapper said, "I don't really work with people I don't know. Had I been mates with them then I might have worked with them. If you just call me up and say, 'Do you want to do a feature on this girlband's or boyband's song?'. If I don't know them from Adam I'm not doing it. It's nothing personal."

Example revealed that he is working with Snow Patrol, who he is a "massive fan" of. He added that he would also like to collaborate with "one of my all-time favourites" Kasabian, explaining, "I like co-writes but I'm very selective about who I work with."

Example's third record is scheduled to be released in 2011.
