Gomez nervous about new LP

Selena Gomez has revealed that she is nervous about releasing her upcoming album, "A Year Without Rain", in the UK next month.

The former Disney star recorded the album with her backing band, The Scene.

She admitted, "I've worked on this record for a year and a couple of months now, so I'm really happy just to get it out, (But) I'm really nervous, I just want it to be out already!"

The 18-year-old continued, "(I named the album after my single) because it's the same name of the first song I recorded to put on the record. I feel like that song has a lot of meaning, and it also kind of was the start of what I wanted to base all the other songs around."

Gomez says that it took longer than she expected, due to her filming commitments on her show 'Wizards of Waverly Place' and her forthcoming movie 'Ramona & Beezus and Monte Carlo.'

"A Year Without Rain" is released in the United Kingdom on October 4.
