Among the songs in the Thumbplay advance are the never-before heard tracks "Ballad for a Friend" and "Guess I'm Doing Fine" as well as an early version of "Blowin' in the Wind."  Each song from The Witmark Demos is captured in the original rough-cut form, featuring Dylan's signature acoustic guitar and harmonica arrangements and an occasional piano accompaniment.  The complete The Witmark Demos features never-before-heard studio recordings from 1962-1964 and will be widely available at retail on October 19th, 2010 in conjunction with the re-release of Dylan's first eight-album box set, Bob Dylan: The Original Mono Recordings.
