Radiohead may scrap new LP

Radiohead's Phil Selway has revealed to the Canadian Press that the band will hold crisis talks this Monday (September 27) to discuss whether they will discard of all recordings scheduled to be included in their forthcoming album.

"We've been working on material on and off for a year now. We're basically taking stock on Monday and seeing what we need to do with the material to move it to those final stages.  We might get back together on Monday and after discussing stuff we might just throw this all out and say maybe we need to go back to the drawing board. Who knows, as I say, it's all up in the air at the moment," he said.

The band's eighth album, a follow-up to 2007's 'In Rainbows', was due for release later this year.

Bassist Colin Greenwood announced recently that they are exploring new ways of releasing future albums.
