Christina Aguilera covered a John Lennon song, Courtney Love sung Radiohead's 'Creep' and Juliette Lewis covered AC/DC's 'Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap' aa a party thrown by producer-musician, Linda Perry in Los Angeles last night (January 5).

The party was thrown in honour of new movie, 'Freeheld' at Community (aka No Name), in Los Angeles' Fairfax district and was also attended by the film's star Ellen Page.

Also in attendance were Tobey Maguire, Jessica and Ashlee Simpson, and Jakob Dylan.

Perry brought several performer friends to the stage including Ian Astbury of The Cult, who sang David Bowie's 'Moonlight Daydream' and The Doors' 'Break On Through'. Juliette Lewis sang a cover of AC/DC's 'Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap''.

Courtney Love said:

"I feel like I'm on American Idol or something" before launching into a version of Radiohead's 'Creep.'

Perry then joked that Love "always talks about how she really wants to be a lesbian but she doesn't want to eat p---y," to which Love replied, "I'll try it soon."

Christina Aguilera was suffering from the flu but still belted out a rendition of 'Mother' by John Lennon.

'Freeheld' is based on a true story which happened just ten years ago. A New Jersey detective (played by Julianne Moore), diagnosed with terminal cancer, wishes to leave her pension benefits to her domestic partner (played by Ellen Page).
