Craig David starts trending on Twitter thanks to Justin Bieber cover

Craig David's comeback is official. The Miami-based Londoner sang a version of Justin Bieber's 'Love Yourself' on Trevor Nelson's BBC 1Xtra Live Lounge today (January 6). The garage-style rendition complete with freestyling at the end caused a UK Twitter trending storm.

34-year-old David also performed his new single, 'When The Bassline Drops' featuring Big Narstie, which is out now.

'Walking Away' star made a reappearance to the UK TV screens when Cheryl Fernandez-Versini got him to perform with X Factor finalists, Reggie N Bollie last month (December 2015).

Back in the day, David won 3 Ivor Novello Awards, 8 MOBO's, 12 Brit Awards and 2 Grammy nominations.
