Twenty-eight-year-old Dwayne Carter, aka US rap superstar ‘Lil Wayne’, has revealed that he would like superstar, Madonna, to play at this homecoming concert in his honour. Although, he quickly added with a laugh, "That was a joke. It doesn't matter, man, I just want to see the fans and I want them to see me, that's all."

Lil Wayne was put in solitary confinement on Monday, ironically for his love of music.

Correction Department spokesman, Stephen Morello, confirmed that Carter has been confined to an isolation cell known as “The Bing” among Rikers Island jailbirds, as a result of him being found with headphones and a charger for an MP3 player back in May.

It is said that Carter, who has been jailed since March on a gun possession charge, will stay in the cell for up to 23 hours a day until his scheduled release date of November 4.
