Leona Lewis has revealed that she will experiment with a “tougher sound” on her eagerly awaited third album.

The 25-year-old Londoner announced that the lead single from the album will be released “early” in 2011 and feature more collaborations with producer Ryan Tedder.

She said: “I think I will probably experiment with a tougher sound on some of the songs. But I don’t like going into the studio saying, ‘I’m going to do this or that’ specifically. I prefer to just get in there and go with it from there.”

The DVD of Leona’s ‘Labyrinth Tour’ tour will be released next month.
