Lopez denies 'American Idol' Feud

Poor Jennifer Lopez has already become the subject of several negative press stories since joining Steven Tyler as a judge on the new season of 'American Idol'.

And now the media have even reported that she has been arguing with host Ryan Seacrest, and claimed only this week that J.Lo repeatedly forgets Randy Jackson's name during filming.

So Lopez decided to put the record straight yesterday (October 8), by appearing on Seacrest's KIIS-FM radio show to address the stories.

The singer and actress said, "It's so funny. I'm sure for the past ten years on Idol there have been moments when things were difficult for people. Maybe I didn't follow the news as well, but I'd never heard anything about feuds. And here I am on there for two weeks and we have a major feud, a diva battle! It's hysterical!"

Seacrest then told listeners: "Jennifer and I have known each other for a long time before all this and we have the same sense of humor, and so when we were on-air or off-the-air we were usually having a laugh."

As for forgetting Jackson's name, Lopez said: "They did not write that! How do you goof up Randy's name? That is hysterical! They want to make me look like a buffoon!"

The new season of 'American Idol' is due to air in January 2011.
