Actress Gwyneth Paltrow has released a music video for ‘Country Song’, the title track from the soundtrack of her latest film.

Singing lead vocals on the song, Paltrow also takes up the guitar in the video, which sees her performing with her band while scenes from the film are played.

The Oscar-winner also sings on another song, titled ‘Me and Tennessee’, which was written by husband and Coldplay singer Chris Martin.  

The film, which also stars Garrett Hedlund and Leighton Meester, is a drama centred on a rising country-music songwriter (Hedlund) who teams up with a fallen star (Paltrow). Joining forces, they launch his career while also staging her comeback. However, the partnership soon causes problems of the romantic kind with her husband and another singer played by actress Leighton Meester.

'Country Strong' – the soundtrack is released on October 25.
