Professor Green thought he was going to die

Grime artist Professor Green has this week told London’s Snaresbrook Court that he thought he was going to die, after allegedly being slashed in the neck with a broken bottle.

The defendant, Anthony Jones, is accused of stabbing Green after the rapper accidentally bumped into one of his friends at London’s Cargo nightclub in May 2009.

Green told the court, "All I saw was a hand come up to my face and neck, it was his right hand, there was a very warm feeling in my neck."

He continued. "I put my hand up and blood was everywhere. I phoned my mother and my grandmother and I said goodbye."

The Snaresbrook Court case with Professor Green continues.

The Hackney MC’s debut album ‘Alive Till I’m Dead’ was released in July.
