Celine Dion names twins ‘Eddy’ and ‘Nelson'

Canadian songstress, Celine Dion, has announced the names of her twin boys through a TVA interview filmed a week before she gave birth.

The interview, filmed with family friend Julie Snyder, was recorded on October 13, and shows Dion telling Snyder that the twins will be called ‘Nelson’ and ‘Eddy’.

Nelson, is being named after the enigmatic South African leader Nelson Mandela; whilst Eddy, has been named after the French songwriter, Eddy Marney, who died in 2003.

Celine Dion is set to return to Ceasar’s Palace in March 2011 for a three year residency.
