Fans warned over fake Take That tour tickets

Following a number of complaints for the highly anticipated Take That summer 2011 tour, fans have been warned to be cautious of fake ticket websites.

The Met's Economic and Specialist Crime Unit spoke with the 'Telegraph' warning fans of the bogus sites and it's risks:

“losing money, having their credit cards details compromised and ultimately losing out on the opportunity to see the band,” noted Detective Inspector Sean Crotty.

Take That are scheduled to kick off their tour on May 30 at Stadium of Light in Sunderland.

Tickets have gone on sale this morning online, causing several legit websites to crash. Prices range from £55 to £90 for the Wembley Stadium stop.
