Suede unsure of what the future holds

The band that played a huge part in creating the Britpop movement, Suede, have said in an interview with BBC’s Newsbeat that the future of its activity still hangs in the balance.

They reformed earlier this year for a one-off gig that subsequently turned into numerous shows, and the band’s current tour is set to finish at London’s O2 Arena on December 7.

Describing the situation as "temporarily permanent", front man Brett Anderson said, "We're going to see how we feel about it. I don't think any one of us wants to do this unless it feels really special. I don't have some secret agenda written down. It just has to feel right".

The five piece band received the ‘inspiration’ prize at this year’s prestigious Q Awards and have released ‘The Best of Suede’ today on November 1.
