Quincy is wracked with guilt over MJ

Producer Quincy Jones says he will never get over the death of Michael Jackson.

Jones, who worked with Jackson on some of his most successful albums, has revealed he was supposed to meet MJ in London before he died in June 2009, and says he will always feel guilty that he didn’t manage to see him.

Jones said: “Michael called me in London when they sold the concerts out. I was there and he wanted to come over and bring the kids. I had a dinner that night and I said I’d see him in Los Angeles. I never talked to him again. It tore my heart out. I was his age when I produced him.”

Michael died after extensive rehearsals; just before his 50-date run of concerts at London’s O2 arena was due to begin.
