Kings Of Leon And Pulp For The Isle Of Wight Festival 2011

Having last performed together in December 2002 Pulp are finally back. The much-loved, era defining band will be appearing on the main stage at the iconic Isle of Wight Festival 2011 on Saturday June 11th.

Taking place from Friday June 10th - Sunday June 12th, Pulp join Friday's headliners Kings of Leon for an unforgettable weekend. Tickets go on sale on Friday 19th November.

The Isle of Wight Festival is the first major festival of the summer, an apt setting for Pulp's return. With a career spanning over three decades Pulp are the perfect addition to this year's mega line up, so make sure you don't miss out on what will be one of this summer's most anticipated events.

The show will involve all the original members of the band (Nick Banks, Jarvis Cocker, Candida Doyle, Steve Mackey, Russell Senior and Mark Webber) and they will be playing songs from all periods of their career.

After seven studio albums and some much-celebrated singles including Disco 2000, Babies and the legendary Common People, their show at this year's Isle of Wight Festival 2011 will be a night to remember.

John Giddings, the festival promoter, says; "When I heard they were reforming, I had to get them, they are the soundtrack of a generation."

2011 marks the 10th birthday of the legendary Isle of Wight Festival and the equally impressive line up will be announced over the days to come. So far, the world class Kings of Leon occupy Friday's top spot and will be joined by some of the best acts around, making it a blistering birthday celebration to remember.
