Little Mix's Jesy Nelson on online jibes: 'Some things were disgusting'

As we reported earlier, Little Mix are the new cover girls for the May issue of UK Cosmopolitan, which comes out on March 31.

The british girl band, who are one of the biggest on the planet, spoke to Cosmopolitan about fame and some of the drawbacks that come with it, including online trolls who have criticised Jesy Nelson about her weight.

Nelson admitted: "It used to make me cry. I was shocked at the time. I was a young girl and I thought, 'What have I done to you? Why do you have to be mean to me?' I'm not a nasty person and I took it to heart.

"Some of the things people said were disgusting. It really affected me."

Perrie Edwards told Cosmopolitan that she wished those prying into her private life during her split from Zayn Malik would "f**k off'.

"At the end of the day, we are real people going through real things."

The singer broke up with the former One Direction man in 2015 after being engaged for a couple of years.

Little Mix are currently promoting their latest platinum-selling album, 'Get Weird', for their Get Weird Tour.
