BBC newsreaders go Gaga for 'Children In Need'

Audiences were given a surprise when BBC newsreaders dressed up in skin-tight PVC to perform a Lady Gaga mash-up for the 'Children in Need' charity last night.

Take That, Kylie Minogue, Susan Boyle, JLS, Cheryl Cole, McFly, The Saturdays and Pixie Lott were among a host of stars who helped raise more than £18m for the appeal.

Organisers are hoping the event will beat the £39m generated last year, once all the donations have come in.

Fiona Bruce, Kate Silverton, Sophie Raworth and Susanna Reid all dressed up as Gaga, and were joined by their male colleagues Ben Brown, Nicholas Owen and Charlie Speight.

The presenters of ITV1's 'Loose Women' also took to the stage for one night only, to perform Girls Aloud's 'The Promise'.
