David Archuleta to Perform in Holiday Parade and Concert Benefiting Children's Medical Center

DALLAS, Nov. 22, 2010 -- On December 4, 19 Recordings/Jive Records recording artist David Archuleta will take part in a 22-year Dallas tradition, the Children's Medical Center Holiday Parade, presented by Capital One Bank. Archuleta will contribute to the magic of the parade by singing a special number while riding on a 'Sounds of the Season' float. On December 3, Archuleta will also perform a special holiday concert at the Majestic Theater in Dallas presented by 103.7 Lite FM, and a portion of the proceeds will benefit Children's Medical Center. Archuleta will sing all of your favorites, plus some Christmas surprises! Lite FM's very own Steve Kemble will kick off the night with a reading of The Night Before Christmas.

Parade Details - December 4, 2010

The Parade begins at 10:00 a.m. at the corner of Austin and Commerce Streets, traveling east on Commerce, and is free and open to the public. Limited bleacher seat tickets are available for purchase online at www.childrens.com/parade. Proceeds from ticket sales benefit Children's Medical Center.

The Children's Medical Center Holiday Parade, presented by Capital One Bank, is an award-winning annual holiday tradition for hundreds of thousands of families. This year's parade will be lead by Archuleta and five special Grand Marshals - featured patients from Children's. It will also include full-scale music performances, giant inflatable balloons, high-stepping marching bands and dazzling decorated floats. Dallas ABC affiliate, WFAA-TV, will broadcast the Holiday Parade live on Channel 8, and more than 350 television stations in 159 markets will air the parade in syndication throughout the holiday season.
